  • Northwest-Shoals Community College Child Development Program through the Alabama Department of Human Resources Quality Enhancement Project is providing an excellent opportunity to obtain the C. D. A. Credential via distance education format.
  • All three of the courses taken leading to the C. D. A. Credential may then be applied, if the candidate wishes, to a Short Term Certificate Degree, Associate in Applied Science with no hours lost in the transfer.
  • All three courses are offered via distance education so the only on-campus attendance required is orientation and the Testing Center.

Scholarship dollars are available through the Alabama Leadership Scholarship and the T. E. A. C. H.
